World of Warcraft: Forever
The map that knows where you've actually been.
Ley lines run unseen under Azeroth. Ley Maps is a network like that, built from real play: where players go, how long things take, what quests actually pay. It turns that into routes you can follow and maps that get more accurate every day.
Free. Windows 10 and 11. Sign in with Battle.net. One addon, one app.
What's in it
Routes
Leveling guides planned for your character from quests players really turned in, sent straight into the game. Step by step, with travel included.
Maps
An arrow that walks you there along roads, flight paths, boats and zeppelins.
/ley go to any town, inn, trainer or NPC.
Loot
Drop rates per corpse, from what players actually looted. Not wiki guesses.
Dungeons
Real clear times and boss splits, with a party's run counted once.
Fishing
Catches per cast by zone and subzone, with and without a lure.
Discord
@mention the Ley Maps bot: where to farm an item, how a quest pays, which upgrade is worth it.
How it works
-
You play
The Ley Maps addon records what the game already shows you: quests, loot, vendors, professions, fishing, dungeon runs and where they happen.
-
WoW saves, the app uploads
When you
/reload, log out or quit, WoW writes the addon's file to disk. The Ley Maps app uploads only what's new, and keeps the addon up to date. -
Every player's data becomes one map
The server combines everyone's uploads into routes, drop rates, clear times and maps. Every answer says where it came from.
What it records, and what it doesn't
Recorded
Your characters (name, class, level), positions, quests, loot, fishing, professions, dungeon timings and the game build. The full list.
Never recorded
Anything players type in chat, other players' names, your Battle.net or game login. Nothing reads game memory, and nothing moves, fights or targets for you.
Yours to see and delete
Uploading happens only through the app you install and sign in to. Log in to see every upload, disconnect a PC or delete your account.
One convenience: when you open a quest window, the guide can accept or turn in that step's quest.
/ley guide auto off turns it off. Reward choices are always yours.
